Looking
at the courses others have designed is an excellent way of sampling
a wide variety of approaches to the teaching of popular fiction and
film, and our objective here is to include descriptions of as many
different kinds of crime-related course as possible.
We hope that people will send
us details of their current courses (please see Call
for Papers). We also include summaries here of some of the courses that have been
on offer during the past couple of years and that are already described
